I have been a freelance writer for most of my professional life, specializing in art, architecture, travel and personality profiles and, honestly, taking the opportunity to write about pretty much whatever I find interesting.  Five years ago my career took an unexpected turn when I became the founding Executive Director of the Interactive Resource Center, a (fantastic!) day center in Greensboro, NC for people who are homeless.  Now I’m back to my first love and enjoying stretching my writing muscles again.  Great fun!
